  37. I don't have hands-on access to HP-UX 11 yet so I can't try this
  38. myself.  On HP-UX 10.20, the exact same sequence works just fine,
  39. so either there is a difference between 10.20 and 11, or else
  40. your device is not set up / configured directly -- some kind of
  41. SAM thing that's a mystery to me.
